Nonbelievers will be Proven Wrong

“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.” Psalm 14:1 ESV

In an article titled “She Hates Running But Ran a Marathon to Spite Her Ex” published yesterday, the following was reported: A sports massage therapist, mom, and self-proclaimed hater of running, completed the London Marathon after her ex-partner told her she wouldn’t be able to do it, according to Hull Live. Jemima Beal, 25, enjoyed just two runs out of 39 over 16 weeks, according to the report, and despite finishing the race in 4:54:24, still hates running. “When I told people I was going to run a marathon they all laughed at me because they know I hate long distance running,” she told the outlet. Perhaps no one doubted her more than her ex-partner. “Last year, I left my ex-partner and he had said I wouldn’t be able to do it,” she says. “I wanted to prove him wrong but above all do it for myself.”

And you know, when it comes to proving someone wrong the Bible is very clear that since the creation of the world, God has been and can be seen and understood through all that He has made. Sadly though, the Bible is also very clear that there are and always have been fools who deny that fact and say in their hearts “There is no God” so they can pursue a sinful lifestyle. These people are corrupt and do abominable deeds, having no fear of judgment either now or in the afterlife—judgement that will come quickly and prove them wrong.

So knowing the fate that awaits all those who reject Christ, let us boldly proclaim the truth… that every knee will bow before Him and acknowledge that Jesus is the Lord, but only those who do so willingly will inherit eternal life.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that all who willfully acknowledge You as Lord will inherit eternal life. Please fill our hearts with urgency to share this message Lord so the lost and unbelieving would not die in their sin. It’s in your precious name we pray Jesus. Amen.

Happy Running!
