Truth never changes

On May 28, Runner's World Magazine published an article titled, "The Philadelphia Distance Run Is Establishing a Nonbinary Division. Here’s Why That Matters." The writer went on to say, When runners sign up for a race, they expect to check one of two boxes. Competitors will race in one of two gender divisions, and winners will receive prize money from one of two pools. Race divisions split between the gender binary—male or female—is a norm that most runners expect, and few have challenged. Yet in the fall of 2021, the Philadelphia Distance Run (PDR) plans to do just that. The PDR will be the first road race in the U.S. to establish a nonbinary division all the way up to the elite level, with equal prize money awarded to winners of the male, female, and nonbinary categories. The PDR organizers hope that establishing a nonbinary division will set a precedent for gender inclusion in the running community.

And you know, regardless of how the world chooses to define, or tries to redefine, gender (do a google search and you will find anywhere from 64 to 100 ways gender can now be defined, and the list is growing), there are still only two real genders... male and female. That was true at the beginning of creation and will be true until the end of time.  And while the PDR organizers could indeed set a precedent by establishing a nonbinary division that might be followed, it will never change the truth of what the Bible says, "God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." 

So be prepared to stand up for what you believe to be true my friend. No matter how many boxes the world might add, there are still only two boxes that are truly options to choose from... male and female. God said it and no one's opinion can or will ever change it. 

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us your Word that clearly defines right and wrong. Lord please help us stand firm on our convictions and to love others that might have embraced the worldly belief that there are more than two genders so that we might guide them to the Truth. It's in your precious name we pray Jesus. Amen.
