"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God." Romans 1:20 NLT
While many people choose to press the snooze button on Sundays, I look forward to the early morning alarm that wakes me in time to dig into the Word and still get in a run before church. And while this practice always comes with the reward of getting to see the sun come up, Sunday's sunrise caused me to stop in my tracks for several minutes... in total awe of the One who made it. I watched in sheer amazement as the faint yellow turned to orange and then lit up the sky like it was on fire. "Truly," I thought to myself. "How can anyone who has ever seen something like this question the existence of God?"
But you know, the Bible tells us that "ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky." Through everything God has made, they have seen his invisible qualities, namely his eternal power and divine nature and yet still have not acknowledged that God is real. But you can be sure that this world and all the beautiful things in it are not the result of some cosmic accident or gradual assembly of random elements. His creations are too beautiful, intricate and unusual to have come about by chance.
So if you have not placed your trust in the Creator of the universe my friend, look around. The proof of His existence can be found everywhere - from the most intricate petal on a lily to the vast expansion of the ocean. He is real and there is "no excuse" for not believing it.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder that You are real and that You are the Master of the universe. Your creation proves it. For those who don't yet believe Lord, I pray that you would open up their eyes to see the truth and proclaim You as Lord of their life. It's in your precious name we pray Jesus. Amen.
Happy Running!!!

* That is the actual sunrise Sunday. I had to stop and take a picture of it. God is real! Creation proves it over and over.
